Hearts in Harmony: Dog Training and Compassion Fatigue Workshops
Hearts in Harmony is committed to promoting kindness and compassion in the lives of dogs and the people who love and care for them.
We combine our love for people and animals to provide positive dog training and behavior modification to citizens of Loudoun County and Northern Virginia, and Compassion Fatigue workshops to Virginia's animal care professionals, such as but not limited to: Veterinarians and staff, Animal Shelter professionals and Animal Control Officers.
What We Offer
Kim Miller, owner and Certified Professional Dog Trainer, offers a wide range of services for both pet owners and animal service professionals. Services include:
Do you believe your furry friend could benefit from professional dog training? Hearts in Harmony happily offers positive and compassionate rewards-based training methods. Our approach is specially designed to help strengthen the special human-dog relationship.
Compassion Fatigue Workshops
Kim conducts regular compassion fatigue workshops to help professionals cope with the emotional stress associated with their respective professions. She has worked with hundreds of veterinarians, animal control and animal sheltering professionals over the years, improving their ability to provide care and compassion to the animals in their care.
Supporting Homeless Dogs
Hundreds of dogs in Virginia are living in animal shelters and rescues, just waiting to be adopted by a loving family. It truly is heartwarming to see the eyes of a family light up when they see the newest addition to the family and the joy that fills a dog. We want to do our part in making such a happy time continue on in to the new home environment.
Dog training usually follows after a family has adopted a dog. We offer a discount to clients who have met the requirements outlined on our Shelter/Rescue Dog page.
We are always happy to offer our dog training services to residents of Loudoun County and Northern Virginia. Some of the towns we serve include:
Oak Grove, VA
and other nearby areas
Kim will occasionally offer training seminars and workshops for animal care professionals in other cities throughout Virginia. Please do not hesitate to ask us if Kim has an upcoming seminar in your city!
